Ecological issues are a real priority for Blanchon, and they have been awarded numerous certifications (including the NF Environmental Label, recognised all over Europe) since 1988. Blanchon's brand new state of the art production site in Belmont is dedicated exclusively to water-based products, which are all totally environmentally friendly. At Blanchon's ground breaking pilot laboratory in Lyon, real Industrial conditions are simulated to test and develop the latest products. 5% of Blanchon's turnover is invested in research.

Teinte a Bois

Teinte à Bois Wood Dye

Specially designed for professional use, Teinte à Bois Wood dye is available in tones to match Rutherford Real Wood's pre-finished Maritime Pine. Particularly useful to finish our unfinished skirting block or to add colour to weatherboarding. A single component, water soluble, and odourless polyurethane product, it is extremely easy to use and suitable for both interiors and exteriors. 1 litre £19.00

Intensiv

INTENSIV (For use with Commercial Oak)

The latest creation by Blanchon's research lab, INTENSIV is a two-component water-borne lacquer. When it is applied, the lacquer and its specific hardener react, producing an exceptionally high-performance film. INTENSIV stands up to heavy use, scratches and chemical spills, and has one of the best coverage of any professional brand. Naturally, the INTENSIV resins don't break over time - it's Blanchon's guarantee of its durability.

INTENSIV dries and hardens rapidly and with no odour, which means it can be used in high-traffic locations such as public areas, shops, offices, hotels, conference rooms, department stores, restaurants, corridors, entrances, schools etc, and all without inconvenience.

INTENSIV clear tone protects wood and makes it 'stand out' without darkening the natural wood tones. Natural grain comes to the fore with one of the four (non-yellowing) aspects: satin, matt, polished oak or invisible (the mattest finish available in today's market). Can also be used on Maritime Pine. A wide choice to suit every style. 5 litres £70.00

Sport

Anti-slip Sports Intensiv

Rutherford Real Wood also provide this product in 'Anti-slip Sport'. Perfect for sports and dance halls. This product is tested by the FMPA, the German research and testing organisation.

It also has excellent resistance to "black marks" from sports shoes and chair feet. 5 litres £70.00


Protector 17

Protector 17

This product may be used on pre-finished flooring, approximately twice per year to give even longer-lasting protection.
Protector 17 is is made according to a new formulation, is totally odourless, compatible with all floor varnishes and will not yellow or flake. 1 litre £9.00


SD Aqua

SD Aqua

Can be used over weatherboarding to add further protection, if desired.
Excellent quality lacquer suitable for domestic and commercial use. Preserves the natural colour of the wood, and provides protection. This product is 100% polyurethane resins and holds the European eco-label for paints and varnishes, which is the only sign of environmental quality both certified by an independent organisation and valid throughout Europe.
